متحدہ عرب امارات نے یمن میں موجود اپنی باقی ماندہ افواج واپس بلانے کا اعلان کر دیا۔ سعودی عرب کے ساتھ بڑھتی کشیدگی اور مکلا پر فضائی حملے نے خلیجی سیاست کو نئی سمت دے دی ہے۔

یمن میں جاری طویل خانہ جنگی ایک بار پھر اہم موڑ پر پہنچ گئی ہے۔ متحدہ عرب امارات نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ وہ یمن میں موجود اپنی باقی ماندہ افواج واپس بلا رہا ہے۔ یہ اعلان ایسے وقت سامنے آیا ہے جب امارات اور سعودی عرب کے درمیان اختلافات کھل کر سامنے آنے لگے ہیں۔
اماراتی وزارت دفاع کے مطابق یہ فیصلہ منگل کو کیا گیا۔ اس اعلان سے کچھ ہی گھنٹے قبل سعودی عرب نے یمن کے بندرگاہی شہر مکلا پر فضائی کارروائی کی۔ سعودی حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ اس حملے میں اس اسلحے کو نشانہ بنایا گیا جو امارات کے ذریعے یمنی علیحدگی پسند گروپوں کو فراہم کیا جا رہا تھا۔
سیاسی تجزیہ کاروں کے مطابق یہ واقعہ سعودی عرب اور امارات کے درمیان بڑھتی ہوئی کشیدگی کی سب سے واضح مثال ہے۔ دونوں ممالک بظاہر ایک ہی محاذ پر ہیں، مگر یمن میں ان کے مفادات اور ترجیحات مختلف دکھائی دیتی ہیں۔
اگرچہ ریاض اور ابوظہبی دونوں ایران کی حمایت یافتہ حوثی باغیوں کے خلاف ہیں، لیکن عملی طور پر وہ یمن میں الگ الگ گروہوں کی حمایت کر رہے ہیں۔ ان گروہوں کے درمیان کئی علاقوں میں جھڑپیں بھی ہو چکی ہیں، جس سے صورتحال مزید پیچیدہ ہو گئی ہے۔
سعودی عرب کا مؤقف ہے کہ مکلا میں جس اسلحے کو نشانہ بنایا گیا وہ جنوبی عبوری کونسل کے لیے تھا۔ یہ تنظیم جنوبی یمن کو دوبارہ ایک آزاد ریاست بنانے کی حامی ہے، جیسا کہ 1967 سے 1990 تک جنوبی یمن کی حیثیت رہی۔
ماہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ اماراتی افواج کا انخلا یمن کی جنگ پر گہرے اثرات ڈال سکتا ہے۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ سعودی عرب اور امارات کے تعلقات میں پیدا ہونے والی خلیج خلیجی سیاست کے مستقبل کے لیے بھی اہم سمجھی جا رہی ہے۔
یمن کی بدلتی صورتحال نہ صرف خطے کے امن بلکہ مشرق وسطیٰ کی مجموعی سیاست پر بھی اثر انداز ہو سکتی ہے، جس کے نتائج آنے والے دنوں میں مزید واضح ہوں گے۔
