چترال کے گہریت گول میں حال ہی میں ایک خاص شکار کا اہتمام کیا گیا، جہاں ایک روسی شکاری نے کشمیری مارخور کا شکار کیا۔ اس شکار کے لیے 68 ہزار امریکی ڈالر کا لائسنس جاری کیا گیا، اور مارخور کے سینگ کی لمبائی 41 انچ ریکارڈ کی گئی۔
Recently, a special hunt was held in Gehrat Gol, Chitral, where a Russian hunter hunted a Kashmiri Markhor. A license worth 68,000 USD was issued for this hunt, and the Markhor’s horns measured 41 inches.

The hunt was conducted under the Community-Based Trophy Hunting Program, which plays a vital role in local welfare and wildlife conservation. A large portion of the revenue generated is spent on education, healthcare, and basic facilities for the local population.
