The mother of former Pakistan Test cricketer and legendary off spinner Saeed Ajmal has passed away in Faisalabad. The sad news has brought grief to the cricket community and fans across the country.
According to family sources, the funeral prayer will be offered today at 6:00 pm at the main graveyard in Ghulam Muhammad Abad, Faisalabad. Relatives, close friends, and members of the local community are expected to attend.
Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Saeed Ajmal’s mother. In his condolence message, he extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family during this difficult time.
Mohsin Naqvi prayed for the forgiveness and elevated ranks of the deceased. He also asked Allah to grant patience and strength to Saeed Ajmal and his family to bear this great loss.
Saeed Ajmal is regarded as one of Pakistan’s finest spin bowlers and has served the nation with distinction in international cricket. The loss of his mother has deeply saddened his supporters, with many offering prayers and condolence messages on social media.
May Allah grant the departed soul eternal peace and give patience to the family, Ameen.

خاندانی ذرائع کے مطابق مرحومہ کا انتقال فیصل آباد میں ہوا۔ ان کی نماز جنازہ آج شام 6 بجے بڑے قبرستان غلام محمد آباد میں ادا کی جائے گی، جہاں اہل خانہ، قریبی عزیز اور شہر کی معروف شخصیات شرکت کریں گی۔
چیئرمین پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ محسن نقوی نے سعید اجمل کی والدہ کے انتقال پر گہرے دکھ اور افسوس کا اظہار کیا۔ انہوں نے سوگوار خاندان سے دلی ہمدردی اور تعزیت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ ایک ناقابل تلافی نقصان ہے۔
محسن نقوی نے مرحومہ کے لیے درجات کی بلندی اور مغفرت کی دعا کی۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ سعید اجمل اور ان کے اہل خانہ کو یہ صدمہ برداشت کرنے کا حوصلہ عطا فرمائے اور مرحومہ کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام دے، آمین۔
سعید اجمل پاکستان کرکٹ کی ایک نمایاں شخصیت رہے ہیں اور ان کی والدہ کی وفات پر شائقین کرکٹ بھی غمزدہ ہیں۔ سوشل میڈیا پر مداحوں کی جانب سے تعزیتی پیغامات کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔
