یہ جانور اپنی دل کی دھڑکن کو صرف دو یا تین فی منٹ تک سست کر لیتے ہیں۔ یوں توانائی اور آکسیجن بچتی ہے، اور وہ ایک گھنٹے تک پانی میں بالکل خاموش، نظر سے اوجھل رہ سکتے ہیں۔

بس انتظار۔
اسی صبر کی بدولت وہ ماہر شکاری بنتے ہیں۔ صحیح لمحہ، ایک جھپٹ، اور کھیل ختم۔
قدرت ہمیں یہاں ایک گہرا سبق دیتی ہے۔
ہر خاموشی بے ضرر نہیں ہوتی۔
ہر پرسکون منظر محفوظ نہیں ہوتا۔
دریا کے ساکن کنارے پر چھپا خطرہ یاد دلاتا ہے کہ اصل طاقت اکثر خاموش ہوتی ہے۔
میں سے ایک ہے۔ یہ لاکھوں سالوں سے زمین پر موجود ہے، جبکہ بہت سے طاقتور اور تیز جانور وقت کے ساتھ ختم ہو گئے۔ اس کی بقا کا راز طاقت نہیں بلکہ صبر، کنٹرول اور درست وقت کا انتخاب ہے۔
مگرمچھ دوسرے شکاری جانوروں کی طرح غیر ضروری توانائی ضائع نہیں کرتا۔ یہ اپنی دل کی دھڑکن کو صرف دو یا تین فی منٹ تک سست کر لیتا ہے، جس سے آکسیجن محفوظ رہتی ہے اور وہ طویل وقت تک پانی کے اندر رہ سکتا ہے۔ اکثر یہ ایک گھنٹے تک خاموش اور نظر سے اوجھل رہتا ہے، صرف آنکھیں پانی سے باہر ہوتی ہیں۔
یہی خاموشی اس کا سب سے بڑا ہتھیار ہے۔ مگرمچھ شکار کے پیچھے نہیں دوڑتا بلکہ انتظار کرتا ہے۔ جیسے ہی درست لمحہ آتا ہے، وہ ایک ہی جھپٹ میں حملہ کرتا ہے۔ نہ کوئی آواز، نہ کوئی وارننگ۔
قدرت ہمیں اس جانور کے ذریعے ایک اہم سبق دیتی ہے۔ طاقت ہمیشہ شور میں نہیں ہوتی، اصل طاقت اکثر خاموش ہوتی ہے۔ صبر اور درست وقت کا انتخاب انسان کو بھی کامیاب بنا سکتا ہے۔
اگلی بار جب آپ کسی دریا کو پُرسکون بہتے دیکھیں، تو یاد رکھیں کہ خاموشی ہمیشہ محفوظ نہیں ہوتی۔ بعض اوقات سب سے بڑا خطرہ وہ ہوتا ہے جو خاموشی سے انتظار کر رہا ہو۔
