لیکن جیسے ہی صارفین اس ویڈیو پر کلک کرتے ہیں، سچ بالکل مختلف نکلتا ہے۔ ڈیگزرٹو اور لیٹسٹلی کی رپورٹس کے مطابق ویڈیو چلنے کے بعد صرف 12 گھنٹے، 34 منٹ اور 56 سیکنڈ پر ہی ختم ہو جاتی ہے۔ یعنی 140 سال کا دورانیہ حقیقت میں ویڈیو کا حصہ ہی نہیں ہوتا۔
اصل معاملہ یوٹیوب کی تکنیکی حد سے جڑا ہوا ہے۔ یوٹیوب ایک ویڈیو کے لیے تقریباً 12 گھنٹے اور 128 جی بی تک ہی ڈیٹا محفوظ اور پلے کر سکتا ہے۔ اس سے زیادہ مواد عملی طور پر ممکن نہیں۔ ماہرین اور فیکٹ چیک ویب سائٹس کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ 140 سال کا دورانیہ دراصل یوٹیوب کے میٹا ڈیٹا میں پیدا ہونے والا ایک عجیب سا گلچ ہے۔

دلچسپ بات یہ ہے کہ اسی چینل پر ایک اور ویڈیو تقریباً 294 گھنٹے کی اور ایک یوٹیوب شارٹ تقریباً 150 گھنٹے کا دکھایا جا رہا ہے۔ اس سے اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ یہ چینل جان بوجھ کر یا انجانے میں یوٹیوب کے سسٹم کی حدود کو آزما رہا ہے۔

Metadata is the hidden information YouTube keeps about every video, such as its title, length, and file details. Due to a technical error, the duration value in the metadata turned into an extremely large number. YouTube then displays that number as 140 years, even though the actual video is much shorter.Indian media outlet NDTV reports that thousands of people have commented under the video. Some believe it is a secret YouTube experiment. Others think it is an art project or something mysterious. Many users simply see it as another odd moment from the internet.Things get even more interesting when you look at the same channel. One video shows a length of about 294 hours, and even a YouTube Short appears to be around 150 hours long. This suggests the channel is either intentionally testing YouTube’s system or accidentally triggering these strange results.In the end, the truth is simple. There is no magical or endless video.
